Lene and Russ, their wedding was not something that just happened. Lene is from Norway and Russ is from America and they met each other for the first time during Miss World in 2008. Lene was Miss Norway and Russ was there for his sister who happened to be Miss America. They became friends, but their relation started after a few years. It was when Lene went to visit Russ in New York. It became a long distance relationship where both of them moved around the world to locations like Singapore and Australia. But even with this long distance between them, their love is what kept them together. They now live in New York together with their lovely dog.

Lene’s roots are in Norway, that’s one of the reasons they decided to get married in Stavanger, Norway. This town is located on the west coast of Norway, surround by incredible mountains and the ocean. However the weather in Stavanger can be quite unpredictable and we really know that now. But their wedding was amazing, they got married on a small (private) island just outside the harbor. They had a beautiful and emotional ceremony, but after the party was on!

They are such amazing and kind people, it’s beyond believe. It was fantastic to be part of their day and capturing that for them.
