“We were super happy and surprised with the video! What beautiful images! The film depicts exactly the feeling of the day and one shot is even more beautiful than the other. We are also very happy with the choice to put the voice of our friend Bernard under the film. With his low, calm, prudent voice telling our story is a true gift. It is very nice to have a short film that emphasises the atmosphere and also a longer film that gives a summary of the day.

Remi and Pui-Yuk were very accessible and friendly. It is nice to not have to think about the filming during the day so that you can fully enjoy your day. The search for a good videographer, was mainly a challenge for David because he is also a professional film maker. During the day, I saw David completely enjoy the wedding without having to think about the film. That was a surprise and huge compliment for Maru Films! Maru Films was “invisible” all day long and filmed during moments where I can not even remember that they were standing next to me. And that’s a good sign. We are very happy with the end result! When we see the film, in our minds we go back to the big day.

Our advice for couples who are getting married:
Enjoy every minute! The day flies by. It is quite crazy to be in the spot light all day long. As a result, there is almost no time to stand still at the moment. Our tip: take a moment together during the day to let everything sink in and experience how rich you may feel with each other and with all those lovely people around you.”
